Connect Google Calendar, Outlook, and other calendar apps to keep all your appointments synchronized.

Setting Up Calendar Integration

Keep your personal and business calendars in sync to avoid double-bookings and maintain a clear overview of your schedule.

Google Calendar Integration

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Google Calendar
  2. Click 'Connect Google Calendar'
  3. Sign in to your Google account
  4. Grant necessary permissions
  5. Select which calendar to sync with
  6. Choose sync direction (one-way or two-way)

Sync Options

  • One-way sync: Omcean → Google Calendar only
  • Two-way sync: Changes in either calendar update both
  • Selective sync: Only sync specific appointment types

Outlook/Office 365 Integration

  1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Outlook
  2. Click 'Connect Outlook'
  3. Enter your Microsoft account credentials
  4. Authorize Omcean Booking access
  5. Configure sync preferences

Apple Calendar (iCal) Integration

For Mac and iOS users:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > iCal
  2. Copy the provided calendar URL
  3. Open Apple Calendar app
  4. Go to File > New Calendar Subscription
  5. Paste the URL and configure refresh settings

Advanced Sync Settings

Conflict Resolution

Choose how to handle scheduling conflicts:

  • Block times in external calendar automatically
  • Show warnings for potential conflicts
  • Prioritize Omcean bookings over external events
  • Send notifications when conflicts are detected

Event Details

Customize what information syncs:

  • Customer names and contact details
  • Service type and duration
  • Location and room information
  • Staff member assignments
  • Appointment notes and instructions

Troubleshooting Sync Issues

Events Not Syncing

  • Check internet connection
  • Verify account permissions haven't been revoked
  • Refresh the connection in settings
  • Check for calendar service outages

Duplicate Events

  • Disable and re-enable the integration
  • Check for multiple sync connections
  • Clear sync history and restart

Privacy and Security

Protect sensitive information:

  • Use generic appointment titles in external calendars
  • Limit customer information sharing
  • Regularly review connected accounts
  • Revoke access for unused integrations
